Leah Creaven is a textile designer and artist whose work explores tactile forms, landscape, and spatial presence. Holding a degree in Textile and Surface Design from Dublin, her studio process blends formal training in weave and print with self-taught punch needle and rug tufting techniques. Her daily routine is anchored in simple moments of mindfulness, like her morning cycle to work, which allows her to slow down and observe her surroundings. Drawing profound inspiration from the alpine landscapes of Wānaka and Queenstown, Creaven translates majestic mountain scapes into rich, textured fiber compositions through an immersive and repetitive tufting process.
