Sara Remnerth is a ceramic artist based in Auckland, New Zealand. Originally from Sweden, her work is shaped by an appreciation for Scandinavian mid-century design, influencing form and proportion. Working intuitively with earthy stoneware, her practice balances structure and clean lines with playfulness, repetitive patterns, inviting touch and closer investigation of her pieces.

"I’m inspired by the balance between freedom and constraints in the material and the technique. By repeating shapes, adjusting proportions, and making small improvements over time, the process becomes almost meditative. Pottery is a slow craft, and I love that. I think slowness is exactly what a lot of us need."
